Project-based learning in practice
All levels
How to run projects that are genuinely learning and not merely activity: real questions, visible process, results worth showing, and knowledge that survives the fun.
Who it is for. Teachers and coordinators introducing PBL, or rescuing a version that drifted.

Active methodologies for engaged classrooms
Introductory
A working repertoire of methods that put students in motion — thinking, talking, making — and the judgement to know when each one earns its lesson time.
Who it is for. Teachers of any subject whose classrooms listen more than they work.
Objectives
- Widen your repertoire of active methods across subjects and ages
- Match method to purpose rather than to fashion
- Keep pace and participation up without losing depth
Learning outcomes
- Use several methods new to you with confidence
- Choose a method because of what it does, not how it looks
- Raise the participation of the students who usually sit it out
- Show a sceptical colleague what changed, with evidence from your classroom
Creativity across the curriculum
All levels
Creativity treated as teachable in every subject rather than a gift some students arrive with. The week works on tasks, constraints and feedback that make original thinking normal.
Who it is for. Teachers of every subject — the sciences and mathematics expressly included.
Objectives
- Design tasks that admit more than one good answer
- Use constraints to provoke thinking rather than limit it
- Assess creative work in ways students and parents find credible
Learning outcomes
- Rewrite closed tasks from your subject as open ones
- Run idea-generation deliberately instead of hoping for it
- Give feedback that makes creative work better, not just praised
- Defend the rigour of creative work when asked to
How these courses work
You learn the methods by working through them yourself, then plan their use in your own subject before the week ends.
- FormatClasses run Monday to Friday mornings. You choose 20 or 25 hours a week when you book.

- GroupGroups are small, usually with participants from several European countries.
- MaterialsCourse materials are handed out on the first day.
- ActivitiesTwo afternoons are given to the week's cultural activities. Both are included in the fee, both are optional, and someone from the team goes with the group.
- CertificateCertificate of attendance, issued on the final day of the course.
- WhereCourses run in two parts of the city: Gràcia, around the office, and Barceloneta by the sea. We confirm which one when you sign up.
Fees and booking
The fee covers the teaching, all course materials and the week's two cultural activities. You arrange travel, accommodation and meals.
You can book through your institution or directly with us. Under Erasmus+ KA1, travel and accommodation come from the grant's own budget lines rather than from the course fee.
There is no deposit, and nothing is payable until the arrangement is agreed in writing.
